Xperia Z3 series launched in Japan

XperiaZ3Some days ago the Xperia Z3 series was announced for Japan. Xperia Z3 (32GB) and Xperia Z3 Compact (16GB) will be available in Black, White, Copper and Silver Green and will be available from late October, depends by carrier. Three carriers will carry these handsets, they are NTT DoCoMo (Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact), au by KDDI (Xperia Z3) and SoftBank (Xperia Z3).  Continue reading

Xperia Z3 TV Advert launches

The Sony Xperia Z3 has been launched for some days now, and Sony has given the marketing campaign for it. The tagline “Don’t settle for good. Demand great.” will be used to advertise the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact across all media (TV, print and digital).

Two ads were launched, one with 60-second duration and one with 90-second duration . These ads will be aired during October globally across 20 markets. Check these two ads below.

Sony has also uploaded some short videos below showing Xperia Z3 series features such as Timeshift Video, PS4 Remote Play, low-light capabilities and water resistant. The last video shows SmartBand Talk accessory in action.

Sticker creator and AR fun app available in Google Play Store

Xperia_StZ3Two of new Sony Xperia camera apps has been available in Google Play Store for at least three days now. They are AR Fun (version 2.0.10) and Sticker creator (version 1.0.4).

AR Fun lets you draw a doodle in an interactive 3D augmented reality space. Some customisations are available in the app including font sizes, colours and AR animations. The Sticker creator app lets you crop an object in the viewfinder. The image can then be edited by removing or showing the cropped pictures. PartyShare app launched by Sony

Xperia_PartyShareIconSony has launched a new Android app called PartyShare. The app turns your phone into a jukebox by broadcasting your party in real-time.

To use the app, you need to install it and either Host a party (creates a space for your virtual party, only on Xperia devices) or Join a party (join to existing party). You can join the party by tapping each other’s device (NFC) or by selecting manually. Up to 10 users can join to the party space. Continue reading
